Opelika - On the Tracks

Opelika sits right next to Auburn, but it has a character of its own. It's the Lee County seat, with a restored historic downtown, local shopping and restaurants, and a calendar that runs less on the university schedule than Auburn's does. Here you'll find historic homes near downtown, established neighborhoods, newer subdivisions, and homes on larger lots just outside city limits.

 

Buyers come to Opelika for a few different reasons. Some work at East Alabama Health or one of the area's manufacturers and want a short commute.
